Product Description




 



Flint Pebble for Glass Industry is in chemical composition 99.31% SiO2 and a maximum 0.018% Fe2O3. Because of its high silicon content and low ferric oxide, it's a very excellent and ideal product for grinding glass raw materials, like quartz sand.



 



If iron oxide in flint pebbles is highm, it can affect the transparency of glass fibers. Glass fiber usually needs to have high transparency in order to be widely used in fields such as construction, vehicles, and ships. If the content of iron oxide is too high, it will lead to a decrease in the transparency of glass fibers, affecting their aesthetics and application value.



 



Secondly, iron oxide can also have an impact on the strength and hardness of glass fibers. Glass fiber usually needs to have high strength and hardness in order to withstand the application requirements of different fields. If the content of iron oxide is too high, it will damage the strength and hardness of glass fibers, reduce their service life and safety performance.
